Chris brings over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience to IHCS, with a proven track record of delivering better outcomes for patients, providers, and health plans, as well as accelerated business results. Prior to joining IHCS and CMS as CEO, he served in executive leadership roles at leading health plans, pharmacy benefit managers, and specialty pharmacies, as well as advised innovative healthcare organizations.  As Senior Vice President of CVS Health, Chris was responsible for Aetna’s Commercial Solutions and Enablement and was head of Aetna’s multi-billion dollar portfolio of Specialty Businesses.  In addition, he served as President of Aetna’s North Atlantic Territory (New York/New Jersey, New England, Keystone, and Capital markets) including Commercial and Medicare. Prior to that, Chris was President of Cigna’s PBM and Specialty Pharmacy businesses.  Before joining Cigna, Chris worked at Medco in many leadership capacities, including Vice President of Personal Health Solutions, as well as roles in Provider Relations and Business Development. He also advised financial services and healthcare companies at A.T. Kearney.  He has served on the Specialty Pharmaceutical Care Management Board, and the advisory board of CareAllies, Inc. Chris has an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and B.S. degrees in finance and international marketing from Georgetown University.
