Clinical Medical Services serves patients from our main office in Carolina as well as our Distribution Center in Ponce and home health operations across Puerto Rico. Our company was founded by Raul Rodriguez Alvarez. In addition, Clinical Medical Services possess an FDA registration for oxygen transfilling of cylinders and liquid home vessels, enabling us to respond to patients' oxygen needs immediately without depending on subcontractors. Clinical Medical Services remains one of the few companies in Puerto Rico providing liquid oxygen to patients. Clinical Medical Services has been a provider of Durable Medical Equipment and Supplies in good standing with Medicare since our founding in 1992., The company received our initial Joint Commission accreditation in 1995 and has since successfully maintained our accreditation.

Over the years Clinical Medical Services has created an integrated healthcare delivery system in order to meet the needs of our Medicare, Mi Salud and Managed Care patients. Clinical Medical Services provides durable medical equipment, respiratory equipment, inhalation medications, home infusion services, home health care and Orthotics and Prosthetics. This integrated delivery system has allowed Clinical Medical Services to expand our patient base to include several large managed care organizations. In an effort to better meet the needs of our expanded population, Clinical Medical Services has developed an integrated and innovative referral tracking system to ensure expedient and quality care to our patients while controlling medical costs.

We understand the importance of same day discharges, redirecting patients from the Emergency Room to the home setting, as well as, reducing the overall hospital bed days per thousand and medical loss ratios. Clinical Medical Services' extended hours of operation from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday ensures that physicians, hospitals and patients can always reach one of our multilingual team members. For those times when after hour emergencies arise, our home care technicians, respiratory therapists, nurses, therapists, orthotists and prosthetists are on-call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to meet our patients' needs. This comprehensive on-call program, which includes all members of the management team, ensures consistent and expedient services.

As part of our mission to put our patient's first and foremost, we equip all of our vehicles with sufficient perpetual inventory to meet patient needs, such as hospital discharges, that may arise after our vehicles have begun their route. Each vehicle is also equipped with a global positioning system that allows our dispatch team to assign orders to the technician closest to the patient and assist them in finding difficult to locate addresses. We also work with United States Postal Service to ship monthly maintenance supplies to our patients.
